Four misconceptions about push-up bras

Push-up bras are often worn under party outfits, creating a sensual cleavage. Think of a sexy décolleté. They're also often worn under a top with a deep(er) V-neck. There are several misconceptions about push-up bras, which we're going to dispel.

1. A push-up bra is only for small breasts

It's nonsense that push-up bras are only for women with smaller breasts. Larger breasts can also wear push-up bras. They not only provide a slight lift but also center the breasts, creating that sensual cleavage. While women with smaller breasts often opt for padded push-up bras, women with larger breasts can also remove the pads if they feel too full.

2. It looks unnatural

A push-up bra only looks unnatural if the wrong size is chosen. With the right size and cut, the effect of a push-up bra is fantastic and very natural. It gives the breasts a natural curve, creates a beautiful cleavage, and also supports the breasts.

3. A push-up bra causes neck and shoulder problems

Just like a regular bra, a push-up bra shouldn't cause neck or shoulder pain. This indicates you've chosen the wrong size. The shoulder straps or a back panel that rides up can also contribute to these problems. These all cause physical discomfort: it's not the push-up bra's fault!

4. A push-up bra is bad for your pecs

Many women think that wearing a push-up bra is bad for their pecs and that it will make the skin on their breasts more supple. Ultimately, almost all breast skin will become more supple, but a push-up bra doesn't accelerate this effect at all. It provides extra support to the breasts, so the pecs stay "intact" longer.
