Ofa Fix
The Ofa Fix skin adhesive can be used for a variety of purposes, including, for example, bra straps. Ofa Fix is even used to secure breast prostheses.
Skin adhesive was originally used to hold toupees in place. It has also been used for decades in compression stockings to help them stay in place.
Of course, Ofa Fix should not be applied to the elastic band of the stocking itself, but always underneath it!
But also in the case of intolerance to the elastic band, for example if the patient does not tolerate silicone, Ofa Fix is a solution.
However, if the patient has skin problems, such as neurodermatitis, the skin adhesive - despite its neutral ingredients - is not recommended.
